Summary:

Book of the Month is looking for bold and social obsessed creatives who enjoy ideating and producing social content to join our Creator In-Residence Program. Most creator programs want you to fit into a box. They want you to follow the same format, use the same trending audio, and do exactly what everyone else is doing. We are taking a different approach.

We are looking for creators who are ready to trade empty virality for cultural relevance. We are opening up our resources and our massive audience to help you produce content that creates a lasting impact.

It does not matter if you create video essays, memes, editorial photography, or short-form sketches. If you have an original idea that has a chance of cutting through the noise, we want to hear from you.

How our program works:

Pitch us an idea in the application question.
We’ll be in touch about the potential of putting our resources behind your idea.
Based on this initial phase, we will select Creators who we want to work with on an ongoing basis.

Based on the wide variety of content we are seeking to produce, the pay range is from $50-$5,000 per piece of content.

Pitch us an idea you want to make with us. Be as specific as possible. Think outside the box. Your ideas do not have to center around books, but rather content that would appeal to our audience of Gen Z/Millennial women who love to read.

Your ideas should not play into typical bookish tropes like:
-Book clubs
-Wine nights
-Cozy vibes
-“Me time”
-Libraries

If your pitch includes featuring books, they must be ones that Book of the Month has carried.*
