Book of the Month is looking for a Product Manager to help build and manage the Book of the Month product experience.

The Product Manager will be working closely with Product Design and Engineering to define, design and build new features and improvements to existing features for our consumer-facing applications across web and our mobile app. Your primary objective will be to provide an exceptional product experience to our members, which includes managing new features through the product lifecycle, identifying and executing upon opportunities to continuously improve our existing features, and working closely with Engineering to release high quality software into production. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn how to build consumer facing software in an at-scale e-commerce environment.

About the role:

Gather data and stakeholder information to write clear and detailed specifications for new features and improvements.
Manage the design process by defining the user stories, establishing the timelines, scheduling design reviews, maintaining a feedback document and flagging any risks to delivery timeline.
Work closely with designers to present design options, gather user/stakeholder feedback, and organize the next round of iteration for new product development.
Write accurate developer tickets and partner with your manager on prioritization.
Run experiments and measure results by working with the data team to define KPIs and build dashboards to provide visibility into outcomes across multiple on-going experiments.
Identify conflicting priorities across the product roadmap and proactively communicate conflicts to relevant stakeholders and facilitate a quick resolution.
Identify improvements and bugs that are brought up to your manager for prioritization.
Perform QA on your own features and other tickets as needed and work with developers and designers to problem solve.

Have 3+ years of experience in a product, technology, or data-oriented role.

Base salary range between: $90,000 - $140,000
