Executive Assistant to the CEO and VP, Editorial Director

Executive - New York, NY - Full Time

We are seeking an Executive Assistant who will split time between our CEO and VP, Editorial Director. This is a high-visibility, dynamic role that transcends the typical administrative function. This is a unique opportunity for an early career candidate to quickly learn the inner workings of a company at the intersection of e-commerce and entertainment. You will provide essential administrative support to the CEO and VP, Editorial Director, primarily by managing their calendars, coordinating meetings and travel, and contributing to the execution of a variety of important projects. Our ideal candidate possesses an exceptionally strong work ethic, is eager to learn through an apprenticeship-style model, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
 

What you will do…

  • Work closely with the CEO and VP, Editorial Director to coordinate and manage calendars and travel in a high quality manner, interfacing with the internal team, external parties, and vendors.
  • Develop, format, and proofread a variety of materials, including agendas, memos, project plans, presentations, and documents for special projects. 
  • Build and maintain various trackers, reports, databases, and other administrative items.
  • Over time, learn to prioritize meetings, scope length, vet agendas and make sure appropriate information is provided ahead of time.    
  • Build strong relationships with the company’s leadership team through consistent follow through and urgency.
  • Respond to requests with urgency, which may occur outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends.  
  • Be in the office 5 days a week so that you can interface frequently with the team to solve problems and make things run smoother and faster.

  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to positively represent the company brand to external parties.
  • Demonstrates the ability to build relationships with maturity, professionalism, directness and a sense of humor.


Salary Range: $70,000-$100,000
